This painting presents an abstract image of a life turning point in the form of a crack in which glass elements break into a ceramic background. It is a metaphor for changes taking place in human functioning. Intense, dark, saturated colors signal difficult and unwanted changes. This is the first in a series of paintings depicting a given topic, although the colors of each of them indicate the variety of changes taking place.
