This is a concrete textured canvas treated with pink, orange and purple washes which features a woman on her knees as if the statue of liberty fell down and cracked open and out crawled a random woman wearing a mask. (like an unsung hero) The image pays tribute to Martha Cooper which was a famous graffiti photographer from the 70s and the entire canvas is adorned with the names of the pioneers of graffiti. The entire surface was painted using a sponge. Only the names were painted with different size paint brushes.
