The Bologna series is based on distressed papers collected from the walls of Bologna. Having suffered the passing of time (as we, human beings) they have acquire a humanity which is specific to the city. They provide me the colors of my palette. I do not add any paint or varnish. I use the raw elements, the dust, the graffiti which covered the papers... as a basis to rebuild a new creation where I concentrate on rhythm and composition.
