V A N A S H R I S H T I (Beauty of creation and mysterious ways of the forest leading to the birth and life of a paradise)

This denotes the first idea, the very first initiation. A drop of life from a source unknown, the elixir which we know not much of but is all around us.
I use Natural Indigo pigment - Indigofera tinctoria (sourced from farmers who grow and make the dye). I create a concoction for application on paper and textiles and the strokes that you see in the artworks is significant to my style. I do not restrict any of my movements as it is a reflective and meditative process while I paint. The base used is hand made paper which is sourced locally.
