Bill’s Scroll has things represented that are close to Bill: him at the piano as a child, a local magpie representing birdsong, waterfalls and the long lines like a circuit board around these recognisable things are my portrayal of the software "Max" he uses to extend his piano playing and composition. Bringing the figurative and geometric design into one work was challenging. The softer painterly images and the bold linear geometric lines and squares contrast, yet do come together harmoniously.
