Levys' work is influenced by her wandering spirit, love of nature and concern about the state of our planet and humanity as a whole.
Her interest in Eastern philosophies, French/German Jewish heritage and years living in Tokyo and Berlin have visually and philosophically enriched her overarching themes of fragility, intimacy, femininity and spirituality.
She employs acrylic paints and pigments, utilising a staining, expressive movement method, synthesising personal trauma and political/social uncertainty into beauty and harmony.
Recent work employs the skin-like qualities of silk as her base material, providing a visual surface for an emotional, sensual experience.
The artists work is included in the Deutsche Bank Collection and the Mori Gallery Collection as well as many private Collections in both Australia and Europe.
