The first canvas with its linear ink drawing almost seems to reassure us with the presence of a few elements: a ball, a house and a tree perhaps too thin in the trunk despite the fact that it seems to have a thick crown; the second canvas focuses attention on a group of characters who perform a sprawling circle, to whom some kids seem to want to add running. Here, even more so, the slender trunk of the tree suggests the fragility, the precariousness of our lives.
