I painted nuclear warheads, crying tears of blood. This image was inspired by how comfortable we are with coming close to a nuclear confrontation. I was reminded of these lines in Jay Electronica's 'A.P.I.D.T.A'; "The clothes we wear to bed at night to sleep is just pajamas. The flesh we roam this earth in is a blessing, not a promise." I wondered how our bodies are like the casings carrying nuclear weapons' atomic death. This one is the first of a series I am looking to explore for a while. While I continue researching and meditating, I will focus on acting right and bringing life and light to my immediate community.
