Geometries found in the modernist architecture when strolling along the River Thames in Battersea form the basis for the mathematical system and order. Digitally sketched and planned, they are mapped onto the canvas with string, preserving the crisp white background. Hung on a 200cm x 200cm x 150cm wooden frame, the canvas was carefully tilted at various angles to create an aesthetic closely associated with modernist, art deco design.
