Painting Bayraktar is part a bigger concept in my work.
The title refers to a Ukrainian patriotic song that became popular at the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The piece is dedicated to the Bayraktar TB2 combat drone because of its successful use against Russian troops. The song was written by Ukrainian soldier Taras Borovok and mocks the Russian armed forces and the invasion itself. The song Baryaktar was released on March 1 on YouTube.
