In the "Rome" series, inspired by the 150th anniversary of Rome Capital, I try to retrace the seasons of architecture and design activity that made Rome a modern capital, eliminating the accumulated historical delay. A new season is inaugurated with the competition for the Auditorium and since 1993 a process of modernization has been triggered, capable of restoring a central role to architecture in the city context. The “Auditorium Parco della Musica” is a tribute to the project by architect Renzo Piano created in Rome between 1994 and 2002. Painting architecture, for me, is painting beauty, modernity, innovation, trying to understand the changes that the city undergoes.
