The goal of this work was to demonstrate the mystery of a first tender approach between two young people. We see a young man bending his head down to a girl or a young woman, who is looking at him with a certain expectation in her attitude. Her hair seems to be stretched out beyond the right border of the painting. Both of them are connected by a clear, round background which detaches himself from the dark space around. It almost looks like a sybolic heart being formed between them. The sihouettes of the two faces have been elaborated through negative painting, while the faces have been kept in a dutch pouring technique using brown, white, gold and black colours. This adds to this work a mysterious touch.
