Inspired
by the history of religious painting, my artistic work presents itself as a
reflection of a futuristic primitive cult.
I reframes images from the collective unconsciousness,
transforming superheroes in hybrid creatures. Their bodies inhabited, are surrounded by a revealing emptiness.
Through these mutant images, a real multiple reveals itself,
mixing metaphysics, initiating quest...
For the icon, I was inspired by Perugino's Ascension of
Christ, I reproduced it in acrylic on wood with gold leaf.
For the chapel, I use the laser cutting machine to cut the
pieces of wood. I assemble and sticked these different elements
like a model kit. A money box is integrated into the structure.
