Can I? Or I cannot?
This is what every woman or girl must think before facing any situation in life.
Choices that may seem simple now become a challenge or a risk for us.
In particular in this work you can see the face of a blindfolded woman.
It means that she cannot see or predict the next step she will take because of external reasons or people that will stop her path.
Her face is abstract, you can almost no longer see her features, this is due to the sudden changes that are imposed on her by the society.
Furthermore, the painting is covered with a subtle transparency to show that sometimes we would prefer to just hide and disappear instead of facing the cruelty of this world. The fabric that falls to the ground also represents all the masks we have to wear to fit in this society.
