Everything is silent, blue is silent.
What cries out is what has not been said yet, that canvas left virgin.
The work on the theme of Direction stems from a reflection, a desire to trace paths, lives, destinies.
For the Greeks, FATE (lat. fatum, from fari "to say") is the word uttered by the deity: it represents for men the will of the gods and thus the immutable destiny of men or states, fixed from the beginning.
The artist becomes an observer who from a bird's eye view attempts to read and transcribe these landscapes of life, traces of memory as the value of existing; roads that unravel, fragments that are fixed in the incessant weave of living.
The sign that creates a boundary is denied, the body in its human representation is dissolved in a flow where color becomes the protagonist.
The lack of direction is only apparent, each segment has a precise map of points, of places seen, inhabited, experienced.
These traces spread out on large canvases evoke fragments, snapshots of paths that cannot be recorded in their entirety because the artist has limited recording tools at his disposal.
