Absence 3 is a combination of two series of
mine, the Absence series (Awarded in London, China, Taiwan and the USA,
and the Connection series which was the series presented at
CasaCor2019). The work comes with the idea of ??the mask and the
invitation that was widely acclaimed in Taiwan, with #absenceyourself
that is for you to be absent from yourself, from everything you no
longer want to live at that moment. And it mingles with a greater
invitation, not only to be absent from yourself, or to be absent from
something you no longer want to live, but also to reconnect with
something that has been lost over time. It is you refusing to really
connect with what really makes you happy in your innermost being, what
comes from the soul, the spirit.
