Some flowers for you. The main idea of the project is to create a big amount of „flowers” together with a group (or groups) of representatives of local communities, other artists and visitors.
Description The „flowers” can be „planted” in places chosen by their creators. „Flowers” can be made of different sizes metal or plastic spoons, bended and shaped (possibly painted) by the project participants. The photos attached are documentation of the former edition of the „similar” projects (realised in Poland, England, Northen Ireland and Westernu Sahara) and roughly illustrate a possible method of its realisation.
Meaning The project is a specific intervention into the existing reality, nature and issues related to a local and global community. Its scale depend on the involvement and cooperation of all the participants. It respects rights of all the involved and provides a great opportunity for an individual and creative interaction as well. This project has been directly inspired by various human rights, freedom, independence and tolerance movements and their ideas.
