NEVERA
temperatura interna dell’ambiente.
NEVERA
As
a child, when I went to the Matese area with my family, I was
intrigued by low buildings; they were the "Nevere", which
were used to preserve foodstuffs.
A brilliant
idea that thanks to the snow kept food reserves until the hot season.
The work I
designed, located along the plain crossed by the sheep track, and
dominated by the impressive Matese massif, is a housing solution that
recalls traditional “Nevere”, but has a different use;
it
is conceived as a shelter to guarantee refreshment, made of
terracotta with a central cavity that is filled with water and which
has the purpose of keeping the internal temperature of the
environment cool.
