When I think of the American desert on the West Coast in Arizona I think of the cartoon character Wile E. Coyote. Wile E. Coyote chased by Beep Beep runs and runs, as if he were on the ground, but only when he realizes that he is running in the void begins to fall, setting the outline of his body on the ground. As a perfect metaphor for our global crisis, I have chosen this frame for my next installation. This work originates from the still luscious flashes and the interpretations of cartoon frames that evoke my childhood. I believe it all originates from there.
