This work is based on graffiti drawn by children under the theme of "peace", "home", and "future". They live in areas affected by the conflict in Uganda, poor villages on the Cambodian border, areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and Mt. Otari, the sacred place of the Shingon sect.
When I created this work, I used the children's irreplaceable graffiti as a part of the picture to help save adult loneliness.
This picture shows the moment when Buddha was born.
The “gokosyo”, which is a tool of the god that pays the devil in Shingon Buddhism, is likened to a single flower, and the figure of the Buddha born from the petals is composed of graffiti drawn by children.
Children are the incarnation of Buddha that brings courage and well-being to society.
