This is the story of the woman’s vertigo watching with binoculars a kissing couple. The portrait of the couple is made with lacquered paint and is characterized by a thread of paint as if it were a thread of thought. Binoculars are the symbol of distancing because they are only used to look from afar to see without being seen. I wanted to show through this work that desire always catches the one who wants to move away from it.
