Logo QAZAQSTAN represents a design of 8 letters expressed by different art images:
- The first letter Q is depicted in the form of the sun, which symbolizes life, energy. The sun is presented on the State Flag of Qazagstan. The Hymn of the country is also started with the words about the sun. All the planets of the planetary system are around the sun. The sun has been irradiated shine and heat.
- The second letter A is represented as yurt which was a housing of Qazags for many centuries. Yurt is considered as a housing for many steppe residents at least during warm seasons. In summer pastureland yurt is indispensable at all. Any foreigners who has been to Qazagstan know a yurt as a national symbol of Qazags. To visit yurt is one of the main aim of cultural programme in Qazagstan for many foreigners. The doors of yurt are open and expecting quests;
- The third letter Z is styled under winding road. That is the road which leads to the house of Qazag. This road leads to Qazagstan. Welcome! Кош келдiнiздер!
- The fourth letter A is represented as another yurt. The owner of the yurt is famous by his hospitality. In a house of Qazag you will be served by delicious food, give tea, become for you an interlocutor, find out your needs and will help you in your necessities.
- The fifth letter Q is presented as a wheel of a cart. A wheel was probably devised with participation of nomads, that covered long distances. For nomads a wheel was a guarantee of successful relocation on life vastness;
- The sixth letter S is presented by another one way from many of them in Qazagstan. SILK WAY ran through boundless Qazag steppe. Qazagstan joins Asia and Europe. All nessesary conditions are arranged to increase transit through Qazagstan: new roads and railway are built up, customs barriers have been abolished;
- The seventh letter T is styled under sheep’s horns that are one of the most significant element of Qazag tracery. Sheep’s horns are used almost everywhere by Qazags: in housing, his cloth décor, utensil, horse equipment;
- The eighth letter A is pictured as well known Qazag headwear “qalpaq”. People in Qazagstan regard it carefully, with special respect. In accordance with ancient story the headwear accumulate fortune and human’s life power;
- The ninth letter N is styled under “asyk”. Asyk is a genual sheep’s bone. After feasts a man cleans “asyk” (this bone) and passes it to children that play traditional game of Qazag children. A child should knock out many “asyks” using only one. And a nimble child catches all of “asyks”. From one site “asyk” symbolizes a relation between different generations, when adults teach children to play. From other site this play forms an agility in children and teach to follow definite rules, make them chance to form sense of purpose, teach them to pass through defeat and become a winner.
