In this work, I wanted to reflect that none of us can objectively say how much the way we see ourselves in the mirror reflects reality. And what we see in turn affects how we treat ourselves. This work was also inspired by the book "Foam of days" by Boris Vian, in which the main character cut his eyelids every morning for his gaze looking more bright. Vian's book is filled with many grotesques, but I found a different meaning for myself in this episode and decided to create this work.
