The concept of my works is based on the idea that even plants, mosses, fungi are living beings, who feel emotions and live their lives, almost like us, human beings.
In this small series of paintings, I took shots of some glimpses of nature present in my garden, and I painted them in order to reproduce the forms they might assume in the imagination of a child or in that of those who know how to travel with imagination.
The choice to paint on real photographs, for me, makes the best the idea that these figures can be concrete and strives the observer to look for the subjects in the painting.
In this painting, a stem of lavender, shows itself to us without even realizing it.
Il concetto delle mie opere si basa sull'idea che anche le piante, i muschi, i funghi sono esseri viventi, che provano emozioni e vivono la loro vita, quasi come noi, esseri umani.
In questa piccola serie di dipinti, ho scattato foto di alcuni scorci di natura, presenti nel mio giardin per poi dipingerli, riproducendo ciò che potrebbero assumere nell'immaginazione di un bambino o in quella di chi sa viaggiare con la fantasia.
La scelta di dipingere su fotografie reali, per me, rende al meglio l'idea che queste figure possano essere concrete e sforza l'osservatore di cercare i soggetti nel dipinto.
In questo dipinto, uno stelo di lavanda, si mostra a noi senza rendersene conto.
