The digital process is used to
create complex forms in an undefined pictorial space by superimposing images,
which enable a juxtaposition of inside and outside, near and far, recognizable
and blurred. Series with compositional variations are created that move between
reality and virtuality. Realized as digital collages, they are photographs on
different image carriers.
In one series, crumpled paper and images as well as colour structures were used as layers in such a way that perspectives shift and the image cannot be immediately grasped as a whole. The viewer is forced to engage with the picture layers, to go into depth in order to form an image of the picture.
