Inspired by the current climate of cyber relationships and cyberculture that centre around an unattainable ideal of the perfect woman, that can be easily accessible through the click of a button on any platform and yet evades reality (as she is not real). The image depicts a human woman, that under x-ray, is seen to be made out of robotic parts that indicate she is the product of cyber manufacturing and thus an illusion. The dialogue box that opens in front of her tells us "she's not real" yet the curser is placed on the exit button as if to ignore and escape the warning. This is a commentary on social media, influencers and the information we are being fed in our generation, that despite being exposed to a multitude of fake perceptions and ideals, a blind eye is still turned and society continues to consume it. The cyberworld and reality are at war here, where the viewer (society) chooses to ignore that what we have idealised and wish to attain in the cyber media dos not exist in reality.
