BURNING THROUGH

"Burning Through" is about that conquering feeling that gives that special filter to the sunsets and makes everything intense around you. Whether it's the feeling of creation or aching love, it transports us to our own magnificent universe. Most of the time I have an image in mind, or a feeling, and when I start layering the digital semi-transparent images, I move towards that. It’s intuitive in a way, but what makes it exiting for me is that the details of the final outcome are 'magically' generated by the visual information of the images used. I enjoy creating abstracts that could be interpreted as possible landscapes. The digital outcome is printed with pigment based inks on heavy, acid-free watercolor  paper, enhanced with soft pastels, mounted on cradled wooden panel (4 cm deep), fixed and varnished.
