Typewriters and Writers

The design is dedicated to the beauty of the instrument, which was used only about 150 years! And it was inspired by the exhibition 200 beats per minute, which took place in Moscow in 2016. 

The first machine was produced in 1868, and the last one – in November 2012. What a short period – and how many bright works. Each machine has its own character, like handwriting, and they are extremely graphic and beautiful. If you look closely at the tapes, you can see the names of writers who worked on the depicted machines. The choice of writers, of course, is very personal, last but not least, I chose them by the typewriter which they worked on.
