The abstract theme, constant in the works of Ti
Lopes, gained volume and three-dimensionality with the incorporation of the
natural fibers of açaí, creating a symbiosis between artistic object and the
material coming from nature.
The lines are opposed creating movements and
angular shapes. The lines attract and oppose each other creating a harmony that
ends up forming a symphony of colors. Interwoven with an irregularly arranged
canvas, the fiber complements the traces of the painting. These fibers attack
the canvas looking for the feeling of pain that the trees would feel when
having their roots uprooted.
