Swordsman, is a complicated paper folding model, based on the image of Japanese historic swordsmen group Shinsengumi member in 19th century, folded from an uncut duo-colored (cyan front & white back) square sheet of paper, through more than 100 folding steps. The result's size is around 25%~30% of the square's length. The contrast colors belong to color change technique, i.e. using original colors on paper's two sides. It was designed as a present for the Tanteidan convention participants as I was invited as a special guest of Yoshino Issei Fundation by Japan Origami Academic Society in Tokyo, 2019.
