In the geometry of traditional power, the triangular (pyramidal) manifests itself both structurally and relationally (the dynamics of power inherit Judeo-Christian pastoral notions -Foucault- and its description responds to the pyramidal structure in social and command relationships). Conflicting units that produce a new one: the family, vestibule of a cultural essence, a procedure.
In this piece, the confrontation between two groups (the popi and the soraya) is evoked, where the black triangle subdues the triangle with an ascending vertex. It is combined with the form of the balsié (ancestral musical instrument of the maroons - escaped black slaves - established in different parts of the island where their ritual rhythms still live).
The piece invokes the death of the hegemony of a dominant notion of power present in relationships, perceptions and rituals (cultural fascism).
