What motivates me is to move, thanks to the imagination (mine and the viewer's), the limits that constitute the walls of a closed space. So I create decorations with Photoshop, to be printed on Tyvek paper (a support that can be entirely recycled by the compartment of our garbage cans reserved for plastic) or on stretched canvas. I prefer to invite animals and natural elements in these settings, in a fun and comforting way. These realistic, life-size, wild representations mingle with our common repetitive patterns; these being, for me, like a representation of our psyches, often frightened by what does not seem controllable. Thus we like the regularity, immediately seizable by our eyes. I hope, in my creations, to speak to this frightened voice within us, to remind us of our own intimate animality, which is not synonymous with barbarism, but rather with spontaneity and the search for satiety.
In this creation, a serval slaloms between stripes, while a golden-breasted starling seems to want to flee between the same stripes, as if through a mysterious parallel world, with one of our pearl necklaces.
The digital creation tool allows me to offer a color customization service, both for the stripes and the background. It is also possible to order an extension in width by multiplying the number of stripes, so as to cover the entire surface of a room, for example.
