Beyond ordonnance

Materials used: concrete, stainless steel, galvanized bolt, galvanized flat washer, nut, sliced MDF, living moss, compost soil.

The project embodies a design that incorporates the use of living organisms in an artistic composition built with a diversity of materials and displayed in unexpected surroundings. The idea is to create a product for a fashion retailer that enhances the link with nature and encourages the potential use of living matter and such design in the real world of retail.

The model demonstrates how a photosynthetic autotrophs can live together with architectural materials and as a biotic component can absorb carbon and be beneficial to the surrounding ecosystem.
