Vendela Wikberg was born in Uppsala, Sweden, in 1987 and she came to Italy in 2007 after some years of travelling the world as an international model.
In 2011 she opens her first vintage shop together with a friend and in 2017, after the birth of her second son, she leaves that shop and opens her own one, Vendela’s Closet, where hand picked vintage treasures meets high quality second hand.
In parallel with the shop business Vendela is working as an artist, stylist and model.
Vendela is mostly self-taught, but with an artistic high school background, several art courses and years in fashion business she has a rich luggage.
In Vendela’s paintings you can clearly see her passion for transforming something old into something modern and contemporary and Vendela her self describes her art as a “naif realism”, a fusion between photography, paint and plaster.
In February 2021 one of Vendela’s art pieces will be shown at the exhibition “Margutta” in Galleria Dantebus Margutta in Rome, Italy.

In parallel with the shop business she is doing colourful stylist assignments for magazines, local shops and for private photo shootings, she is also modelling and doing art.

In February 2021 one of her artworks will be shown at the exhibition “Margutta” at Galleria Dantebus Margutta, in Rome.
