Our online names are often different from our given names, so it seems fitting that Pastel White, an artist concerned with all that the digital realm touches, has chosen to interact with the world in much the same way, obscured by a digital cloak of anonymity.
Because of this, little will be disclosed. An effort has been made to make Pastel White gender free, culturally fluid and geographically nomadic with the intention of allowing the work to be experienced from a neutral position, uninfluenced by biases that we all have whether we recognise them or not.
The hope is that the work may be judged on its own merit, uncoloured by the artists age, gender, nationally, race, education or economic situation.
