Ulrike Kuhnhardt is a visual artist based in Leipzig, Germany. Her practice spans painting, digital art and papercutting. After training in painting, drawing and tailoring, she worked for many years in costume and textile design for opera, film and stage. Today, her focus lies on nature-inspired image worlds that explore the quiet connections between perception, structure and memory. Kuhnhardt has exhibited in solo and group shows in Leipzig, Aachen and is a member of several open artist networks. Her work is shaped by daily observation, material sensitivity and an interest in nature’s healing potential.
