Jeff
Tse, aged 52, took drawing and painting as hobbies and even a second career for years.
He initially practised drawing with pencils, pastels and ink. He later turned to do water colour and oil painting. Since 2017, he has received systematic training from a renowned Hong Kong artist Mr Clement Chan about art
history, abstract art and contemporary art. Jeff mainly practised acrylic in
his paintings.
As inspired and motivated
by his teacher Clement, Jeff has all along experimented different forms or
styles of paintings over the past years. With an academic background in philosophy and psychology, Jeff created various art series, such as "A Hopeful Girl", "Lotus Roots", "Connection and Coincidence", "Life and Geometry", etc. He recently incorporated elements of Chinese
cultures into his paintings.
