Born in Italy Alessandra uses her senses to embrace Nature, balancing her awareness surrounded by open spaces. Her sense of beauty lies within Nature shapes. Studying art in Italy gives her the privilege to discover the creative skills used to inspire humanity and gracefully reconnect it with Nature. After having studied Visual Design in Milan, she moves to London where she lives for 8 years. She gets into photography and with her old Reflex she captures life into very personal and unexpected impressions. She focuses on black and white first, to use colors later on. Alessandra in England works as a creative graphic designer, enjoying using Photoshop and Illustrator.
Back to Italy she works as a freelance graphic designer but does not forget her passion for photography, her real artistic side. She then starts producing digital PhotoGraphic nature portraits, very neat and unusual. Searching for the right composition, she creates colorful and playful works of art keeping Nature her main muse. She works in Milan, surrounded by Italian art, beauty and nature.
STATEMENT
I grew up between the 80's and the 90's, where photographic images had an energetic impact on communication. My art connects Nature with Psychology, giving us back the perception of our inner and primordial sense of observation. When we are children, we have no filters, no boundaries, our discovers are magic yet very simple. The images I create are symmetrical as we all are: symmetry has been the rule of perfection statement in art history. So far this symmetry creates chaos, showing how Nature is fighting, reflecting its survival schemes to breathe. Nature has to duplicate its skills to overcome extinction, to evolve. Like a mother does. We all are children and we all are looking at the kaleidoscopic messages from our Nature where she tells us a story of survival protecting us like a mother. We have to listen Mother Nature: she is talking to us in this very compelling portraits.
