Sandro Tiberi is an artist, expert in handmade paper, professor of paper technology at the
Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, teacher and consultant at the International School of Art
Crafts in Fabriano. Assist in the creation of workshops for training and for the production of
special papers. Organize and participate in Exhibitions and Events. He was the national
President of the Confartigianato Arts. He wrote a book: "Incontro con la carta" published by
Chiaredizioni. For Chiaredizioni he has also published a book on the fictional history of his
family: «I Tiberi» Articles have been published about him and his work on the main national
newspapers: La Stampa, Il Giornale, l'Avvenire, Il Resto del Carlino, Il sole 24 ore, Il
Millionaire and in various international newspapers.

Present in various television programs on national and non-national channels ,, SKY, RAI, Mediaset, TV 2000 and in documentaries on its activity,
GEO & GEO, Mezzogiorno in famiglia, Linea Verde I soliti ignoti, Paesi e paesaggi.
The Japanese national TV NHK made a documentary about him.
He
has innovated a traditional craft in both equipment and products, manufacturing
papers suitable for the most modern printing techniques,
innovative and
customizable papers, special water-repellent, oil-repellent and heat-resistant
papers. He started a project together with Faber S.p.a.
creating a
cooking hood with
the illuminating part made with one of his works in watermark: K'ARTA now on
sale.
In Interior Design he creates lighting, doors, partitions and wall
coverings with his papers.
He

a consultant of the International School of Art Professions of Fabriano,
professor of paper technology at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, He
has
taught in hundreds of workshops in the main Academies of Fine Arts in Italy:
Venice, Bologna, Rome, Perugia , Macerata, in secondary and primary
schools, in
cultural associations and for the purpose of social reintegration. He has
collaborated with the main museum activities on paper in Italy: the
Fabriano
Paper and Watermark Museum, the Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation, a prestigious and
unique industrial historical archive of which he is also
an honorary member,
the Toscolano
Maderno paper mill valley, the paper Museum of
Genoa, Il Borgo dei Cartai of Subiaco. In
Peru in Chimbote, he
worked as a consultant on the opening of a paper mill, "Papelera Don
Bosco".
