Born in Most, northern Bohemia, Feb. 10, 1956. • Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague; graduated in 1980, earning a degree for a thesis on kinetic art Real Motion as a Medium of Art (under the tutorial guidance of Ass. Prof. Zdeněk Sýkora). • Since the early 1980s involved with art production focused on geometrical, neoconstructivist and concret idioms, simultaneously working with the method of computer applications in art. • Teaching modern and contemporary art, art criticism, digital art and new media, and visual semiotics at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University in Prague. • Member of the Concretists Club KK3 and Association of Czech Graphic Artists HOLLAR Prague. Lives and works in the town of Poděbrady, central Bohemia, and in Prague.
