I am 27 years old and I am an Interior and Creative Designer highly interested in exploring various design fields. Currently, I collaborate with Hola Studio, a young design studio based in Rotterdam and led by an emotional design approach. I designed two lamps inspired by the main pieces of the chess set: Queen and King. The 3d printed lamps are realized in PLA (polylactic acid), a biodegradable plastic derived from natural resources. The playful aspect of the lamps has the goal to influence consumers to have a more emotional connection towards everyday objects, to rethink the detached habit of using ordinary items, and to reconsider the idea of mere consumerism.
