Since the beginning my artistic practice has been linked to the periphery, a concept not only physical, but more often linked to the edge of human life. Sometimes in the open space of our cities, the identity of the individual is nullified by the anonymity and lack of sense but so becoming, on the other hand, a mirror of people who live that urban space, where the landscape and its elements and features have their own inner nature, their own interiority, sometimes a sensense of a lost truth.
While I find very difficult to tell my thoughts and feelings on paper, the pictorial practice I developed, more easily help me to communicate what I see, feel, believe Trough the idea of generating an abtraction both pictorial and plastic, deeply rooted in to the reality. my work has is based on two main steps: layering, summing up paint, recovery materials, images and codes and then the subtraction, which comes by scratching with blunt objects and abrasive cards, trampling and consuming the surface of my canvases.
