Srotoswini Sinha, currently in their final semester of their BFA in Art History, works with and further wants to develop is the notion of experience. An experience is when an event or an object leaves an impact and/or impression on a person. This could be a series of emotions, be it consistent or as dynamic as a rollercoaster ride. The language of study evolves into a deeper understanding of the object and subject and helps them to dive into the subconscious explanation of the reality. Their works continue to take help from other media including photography, digital media, and sculptures and installations. Srotoswini's enquiry lies with the viewers of the works that they do, so as to understand all the possibilities of inter-changing an experience in context to constant communication.
Srotoswini has participated in several national and international exhibitions through online and offline modes, some of them being- Students' Biennale, Kochi, India, 2020, Group show in Academy of Fine Arts, 2021, Kolkata, India, Exhibition in ICCR,2021, Kolkata, India, Solo Show in Nippon Gallery,2020, Mumbai, India, alongside having one of their artworks featured in COP26, 2020, UNESCO, Glasgow.
