This inscription is for a duo (Sophie DEJONGHE/Sophie VAUPRE) Our duo is the meeting « in situ » of 2 universes, the material - the ceramic volume, and the image -the line. for the two, spot repeated by the hand, expression and ancestral’s movement, story of the origin, instinct. The hand which leads the pencil on the surface to get what appears or disappears. The manufacturing of a mold for a series of mutant objects.Signs and volumes could then tell their story, a story, or History. Told, revisited, subjective, commonplace stories also. Dialogues, résonnances, echos, recollections live in the "place/space".The spectator is invited to decipher, there indications, here associations of ideas, marks are disturbed, scales are blurred, a universe which seems enigmatic. Our common work questions the complexity of "here and now", revealing problems the humanity is confronted today.Sophie Vaupré CareerSince jan 2001 :Teacher of plastic arts, municipal school of fine arts, Grande-Synthe, FranceJun 1997 to jun 2000 :Conception, realization et animation of multimedia workshop sein, Musée des Beaux Arts de Lille, France.1996 : Diplôme D.N.S.E.P., Superior Regional school of Plastic Expression of Tourcoing, FranceJan 1994 to jun 1995 : In charge of the sector of the plastic arts, Maison de l’art et de la Communication, Sallaumines, France1992 : Curator of exhibition, Henri Cueco, openning of Cultural Center: Maison de l’Art et de la Communication, Sallaumines, France1991 : Diplôme D.N.A.P. with distinction, School of fine Arts, Nancy, FranceArtistic CareerMarch 2018 : exhibition « Continues le monde continue... », cinéma Le Varlin, « convention nationale sur l'accueil et les migrations » Grande-Synthe, (beginning’s project 2016)Autumn 2015 : exhibition of publishing #1 « Interprétations », private space, Lille, Francejune 8th 2013 : Performance « Ces belles petites maisons tranquilles » private space, Bruxelles, BelgiumSpring 2012: Performance «Ces belles petites maisons tranquilles», school of fine arts, St Omer, FranceAug 2012: Wall drawing, private space, Rabat, Marocco21th june; 16th october; 11th december 2011: Performance « Ces belles petites maisons tranquilles » private space, Lille, FranceSept/Oct 2010: exhibition « Découvrir/Recouvrir », P.O.C.T.B with « espace 36 » gallery, Orléans, FranceMarch/April 2010: « 8ème biennale internationale du livre », « livres à voir 8 », Arras, FranceFeb 2010 : exhibition screen printings, « au grain de sésame » gallery, Rabat, Marocco12th and 13th december 2009: « fête du livre de Lille, Escales hivernales », Lille.Sept 2009 : exhibition of publishing by Monac 1, Théâtre Louis Richard, Roubaix, France. 2008-2009 : publishing with Alain Buyse and Monac 1, Lille, France.13th jan 2008: performance « Transport n°1 », exhibition « En partance pour Sulaimany » by « La Pluie d'oiseaux » association, Rita, Roubaix, France.Sept 2007 : Financial support, Conseil Régional du Nord Pas de Calais, France.Jan 2007 : performance « Transport n°1 », M.A.J.T, Lille, France.Jan 2004 : Exhibition « espace 36 » gallery, Saint-Omer, France.2003 : Résidence, « espace 36 » gallery,St Omer, France.Jun 2000 : Financial support, Fonds d’Intervention et d’Aide à la Création Régionale (F.I.A.C.R), D.R.A.C Nord Pas de Calais, France.March 2000 : Residence and exhibition, idem+Art and DRAC, Maubeuge, France.Oct/Nov 1999 : Résidence, « canal de la Sambre », Maubeuge, France.Sophie DEJONGHE Sophie DEJONGHE was born in 1973 in Lille, where she grew up.
