Self-taught. I live on the north-eastern edge of the island where I was born, Sicily.

In front the sea, behind the Nebrodi Mountains. Surrounded by volcanoes, the Aeolian and Etna.

Peaks and depths are the boundaries, a vastness that when faced makes visionaries:

the peaks are abyssal, the depths dizzying.

In this context my daily life is cancelled and renewed like the sea, moved by the currents below and the winds above.

The rituality of the artisanal gesture that is repeated returns reflections and evocations on the fabric, the result of observation and readings that take their cue from nature to address the encounter between man and nature.
