Nema Seidel, an artist of Tübingen, Germany, has led a multifaceted life driven by her passion for art and architecture. Her journey began with a study of architecture in Stuttgart, which laid the foundation for her creative pursuits. In Berlin, she honed her skills in figurative painting under the guidance of Johannes Uhl, exploring the realm of the human form through art.
Nema later joined the Architects Cooperative in Stuttgart, where she earned a Master of Architecture, specializing in planning and design. Her professional career led her to Famira Stgt., a planning office, where she continued to contribute to the fields of planning and design.
Beyond Germany's borders, Nema embarked on various international missions for the GTZ (Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit), particularly focusing on school construction and educational planning. Her work took her to locations such as Bangkok, Hanoi, and Papua New Guinea, where she played a crucial role in shaping educational environments.
Nema's artistic journey didn't stop at architecture; she ventured into the world of painting with a unique flair. Her canvas expanded to include not only traditional large-scale acrylic works but also experimental pieces utilizing diverse materials, such as acrylic and plastic film, demonstrating her innovative approach.
For the past decade, she has also delved into digital art, embracing the ever-evolving digital medium as a canvas for her creative expression. Today, Nema Seidel continues her artistic exploration as the Managing Director of Galerie-Raumhoch in Tübingen. The gallery serves as a platform for her own projects, showcasing her large-scale artworks and a curated selection of works by fellow artists. Nema Seidel's journey is one marked by a relentless pursuit of artistic and architectural excellence, and her creative endeavors continue to inspire and captivate those who encounter her work.
