Born in 1946 in
Bordeaux, Michel ROZIER learned his trade in a
small Paris
workshop where he spent several years.
Back in France after fifteen years in Australia, he
has chosen to let his imagination go and works with steel as well as
non-ferrous metals and other materials.
His work is a homage to our
ancestors of the neolithic. His totems are an attempt to express the
spirituality of this period, which fascinates him. He works with mild steel,
copper, bronze, wood, and uses gold foil and natural pigments.
Sought after for the
authenticity of his forge technique combined with the sincerity of his
inspiration, Michel Rozier participates in numerous personal exhibitions in France and abroad (Germany,
Spain, Japan, Italy, Switzlerland and
Great-Britain) as well as doing public and private art commissions.
