LIVES AND WORKS
DATE OF BIRTH
Color, the vital silence.
This statement summarizes the dialogue that arises between the kinetic proposal and its environment.
This conversation emerge through the chromatic dynamics that ends up captivating the medium with a silent message, which does not speak to the mind, but to the heart and emotions.
The work tells a story through its vivid hues and pleasant vibrations, its goal is to allow the viewer to find new dimensions for entertainment, tranquility, harmony and/or abstraction.
Depending on the mood, at certain times, this communication can be eloquent, lively, playful or exiting; at other times it can be discreet, reflective, or soothing.
This is the magic of color. It presents an emotional adaptability that is always in tune with the observer, where it does not need to say any word to assertively express what it feels.
This is how the work becomes a vital experience, which silently expresses its intentions, animates, transforms, enchants, and encourages the days of the person who contemplates it.
About the work process:
We bring life to color by conjugating simple chromatic elements, in order to generate expressive vibrations and dynamics, framed in a diligent craftsmanship and an eloquent artistic approach.
The composition is made under a mixed technique of colors, shapes, light and shadows, on planes and volumes, and with different materials, where the observer is the main reference.
For example, how the proximity of black, purple or yellow to fuchsia generates oranges or blues tones that are not present in the support. Isn't this magical?
This is how we make our proposals come true.
We are currently engaged in exploring new kinetic dimensions of color through proposals linked to the architectural artistic intervention of the community where we live.
In our work, Color is the vital silence.
Research is fundamental to my work. This goes hand in hand with keeping an agile mind open to experimentation, where materials, supports, colours, effects and their consequences converge.
Creativity comes from been open to different kinds of influences, even if there are totally opposite to your work or discipline.
