Read MoreMMy name is Elena Petrik. I paint in the style of esoteric classicism. I was born in 1976 in the city of Kyiv, Ukrainian Republic, USSR. Love for art appeared in early childhood and already at the age of 10 I entered an art school, and later I graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Arts and Architecture in Kyiv.
I live and work in Kyiv, Ukraine. Relatively not long ago we had a physical opportunity to participate in international exhibitions, and free travel abroad. In addition, I had to take care of a sick relative and my opportunities, for some time, were severely limited.
The cornerstone was the rethinking of new possibilities and art in general. Lately I've been traveling a lot, trying to understand different cultures, studying different kinds of arts and architecture.
My world has changed a lot and I realized that for me art is the beauty of human nature, the spark of God that is in each of us. There is nothing perfect already created by the nature . In which man is a combination of divine design and cosmic meaning. Each of our emotions reflects the inner infinity of the micro-cosmos. We are all gods, mythological creatures, imprisoned in the shackles of everyday life. You just need to wake up to see the real beauty of reality. This is what you can see on my canvases, in every stroke of the brush.
