Photography. Her oeuvre is raw, vulnerable and authentic while demonstrating artistic prowess and deep understanding of art history. It reflects
her passion for art history, pattern, texture, and color as well as her
love for her friends, family, pets, and the world around her.
She creates powerfully provoking portraits that capture the very essence of history while embracing contemporary photographic technique and elevating her subjects with a sense of grandeur and importance. Her multifaceted talents contribute to the richness and depth of her artistic vision
and the photographs she engenders are meticulously thought out and well
planned with iconographic and historical research long before execution
with her own building of sets, props and stylizing of costume hair and
make-up.
Her
propensity to compositional design elements facilitates her capability
to organize even the most chaotic vignettes into well-orchestrated
symphonies. Misfortunes, dysfunction and weaknesses are divulged in her
scenes as if they were superpowers in disguise. The psychological
underpinnings of these mise en scéne photographs, allow the viewer to
